I went to Portugal to conduct a DAISY Training at Porto which is the second biggest city in Portugal. I was accompanied by Sreeja, a colleague. Porto looked like a old city with numerous old buildings. The infrastructure in the city was however modern and well developed as you would expect in an European city. We conducted the training at University of Porto inside a huge buildings which had those grand stair cases, high ceilings and huge windows.

Porto is a small city and one can see almost everything within a short span of time. We visited the beach and several shopping malls.

Portugal is extremely expensive as compared to India and the only thing which appeared attractive cost wise were the leather products which is an important industry in Portugal. I bought shoes for myself and Veena and a lot of chocolates.
